Advice Question

Friend trouble...

So I've been friends with this guy for a few years now. He used to be so much fun, but lately, things have gotten out of hand. He's just so annoying, and I find that I can't stand talking to him anymore. He lives upstate from where I am, so I don't see him often, but we talk on facebook and we text a lot. But I don't know if I can do it anymore.

Basically, I want to talk to people who go beyond pornography and toilet humor. It's so annoying, and that's ALL he ever talks about. I'm really sick of it. But at the same time, I'm afraid to hurt him. I'd feel so bad. What should I do?

You should tell him how you feel about him doing it and ask him to take it down a notch or to stop it all together. If he is really your friend then he would respect that and stop. If he doesn't stop then he just doesn't care and that should be when you tell him to back off and just leave you alone all together. If he really values your friendship then he will stop.
