Sometimes guys do that. I'd confront him about it and make sure you know what's going on. Sometimes, we have a tendency to overreact to minor things, but if you definitely feel like he's being a jerk, then he probably is behaving like one. Talk to him about it. If he continues to treat you like dirt, avoid him and find a new friend. He obviously is not worth a minute of your time. :) Best of luck!

Talk to him and tell him that you care for him. Ask him to share his problems with you and tell you why he is behaving that way.Don't be rude ask him in a nice and friendly manner. gud luck

Ask him why he has been acting like this, and ask him what's wrong…if he says "I'm fine". Remember, (it's a lie).

Just ignore him! As a guy myself, I can't say I understand where you're coming from. I'm always cool to people, and if I'm not, I'll tell you why. Don't even let it begin to bother you. If you have a crush on him (which I'm sure you do, considering that you're letting it bother you this much), find someone else to like.

I'm best friends with guys and sometimes they get like that. With my guy friends, I just try to talk to them about it. If you've already tried that, try talking to some of his friends. Then, if/when you find out what's going on, Go right up to him and say, "Are you being rude to me because of ______?" If he says no he'll probably explain and if he doesn't, pressure him more. WHat you've got to think about is that guys don't like to show they're emotions around other guys and they're close friends. If he says yes, Then try to fix what happened and if he just continues being a butt hole, just keep calm and move on. Hope this helps! ^-^

I have been there but all you have to do is don't talk to him for like 2 weeks and he will feel like a total jerk.

I honestly think he likes you! If this behavior is happening all of a sudden, and especially since you guys have been friends for long, it means he likes you.
