The only time moving was really painful for me was when I graduated high school and moved back to the States. The biggest culture shock ever is the American way of life, let me tell you. I could handle living in Uzbekistan and Egypt, but send me to America and I became absolutley lost. I felt isolated, especially because no one I met was in the mood to make any new friends, because they already had all of their own from kindergarten and high school. It was easier when I moved around overseas, because the schools I attended were used to people coming and going.

The second hardest move I ever made was out of the dorms my sophomore year and into my appartment. Not for any logical reason, simply because I was unorganized, everyone was moving that day, and it took for fricking ever to get done and wait for elevators and carry things around. I really missed the movers we hired when we moved around overseas. I actually asked my dad if we could have professional movers move me and he said "No, suck it up."

Axlluver, you asked was it EVER hard for you and you picked "not at all" even though you said it used to be lol.

Anyway I'm not sure if it was VERY hard for me but I moved around a lot and it gets annoying because you start getting use to a house then you have to leave.

When I moved I had to start a school in grade one and I haven't had any friends but when I got to High School a lot of new kids were there and now I have tons of friends.

I moved as a child in grade one. I miss my friends so much but I never changed schools after. If you're talking about houses, then I moved 6 times and they were fun :)

Moving was by far the hardest part of my life so far. I had to leave the only place I knew to live in a desert! It took me FIVE years to realize I at least have 1-4 friends whom have been there when needed. I later realized that my hometown is now a druggie town!! =) It was good for me in the long run but I was hurting at first. Much like now. TTATT
