She shouldn't have tweeted that in the first place, but people blow things out of proportion and give her shit for it just because she's Bella Thorne.

Sure, it had been three days after the mudslide that she claimed she found out about it but I don't think she was lying about not knowing about it. There are plenty of times that something big and tragic happens and I don't know about until days later because I don't really keep up with the news 24/7. Such as the bombing in Manchester at Ariana Grande' concert, a lot of the bombings in France, and I hadn't even heard about this mudslide until a week or so afterwards because of the news of Bella's tweet. Besides, she's busy with her job doing movies and getting ready for season 2 of Famous in Love (I CAN'T WAIT), so I doubt she keeps up with every news story. She just didn't know about the situation and made a mistake that she regrets. So I think all the hate she's getting is pretty over-the-top. She deserved to be criticized but not to this extent because she didn't know about it and is being called a liar by people. Give her a break! She's still only human and we all have our bad moments. Whenever I'm stuck in traffic on the interstate, my first thought isn't worrying about the safety of the person involved in an accident (Until I see the accident and I feel bad afterward) but instead being annoyed because I have to be stuck in traffic. She's learned her lesson and really meant no harm.
