His name's Trevon Masters. He is Danny's cousin, though he doesn't really know it just yet, as Vlad is one of Trevon's uncles. Trevon comes to Amity Park to meet his Uncle Victor. Vlad lies to Trevon so he could use him as a test subject to see if injecting a human host with ecto-plasm will give them ghost powers. Unfortunately it works. Trevon gets ghost power, but he also starts deteriorating to ectoplasm. The problem is that it three times as bad as Dani's condition, and ecto-dejecto will not solve it. A ghost comes by, saying that he knows how to save Trevon, but requires Danny's help to deal with ghosts that are getting on his nerves. Danny must deal with most of his enemies, but gets help from the ghost from before who instantly shows his true power by knocking out half of them in one attack. When all the ghosts are dealt with, the powerful ghosts instantly catches Danny off guard by saying that he's the most powerful half-ghost in the entire zone and that for Danny to get his help, he must pass his trial. The ghost says it is a battle, Danny accepts the trial, but shortly realizes that he is bitten off way more than he can chew by the half-ghost's display of powers far exceeding those of Danny's. During the entire trial, the half-ghost says things that don't make sense with a typical battle of might. Danny must figure out what the half-ghost means as Trevon only has two days before he turns to ectoplasm. During the time of the trial, Trevon is taken by Vlad to the mansion. Danny passes the trial and the half-ghost offers his help dealing with Vlad. Right when there's nothing that could make the experience weirder, the half-ghost reveals who is his. The half-ghost bestows Danny with his powers and say that it shall pass down through the line of half-ghost heroes. The half-ghost tells Trevon that he and Vlad are actually related, which also means that Trevon and Danny are actually related.
