Desperate Housewives Writer's Strike might cut DH short

Starting Monday, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) is going on strike. Film and TV writers will not be working until their contract is settled. What that means for DH’s schedule is unclear, it probably won’t mean anything for 2007, but come January there may not be episodes to air, depending on how long this takes. They’re filming episode 10 now, and while I don’t know where they are in the script process, over the years cast members have frequently talked about how they sometimes get scenes right before shooting; writers aren’t going to be revising scripts, so how long the show can go on without writers is unclear.

i sure hope it won't affect the season or cut it short, as i'm reading that it has with other shows...
