The saddest moment in Disney movie history was the brutal murder of Mufasa at the hands of his brother, Scar, in the 1994 Disney classic, "The Lion King"

In Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch, when Stitch passes away. D: I swear it is the saddest scene ever. I cry when watching it, the emotion in the music, scene, characters and voice acting is heartwrenching.

Fox and the Hound for sure. I always, always, ALWAYS lose it when Widow Tweed has to abandon Tod, practically her own child, in the woods as it's about to rain and they play that depressingly sad song. It breaks my heart when Tod tries to come back but she won't take him and then they cut to her crying and his innocent confusion. Lord, I'm crying now

Yeah, yeah Mufasa's death was sad but death is natural and happens to everyone/everything but abandonment is just very, very sad to me.

In Mulan 2, when Shang sacrifices himself to save Mulan and she thinks he`s dead. I think that tops even Mufasa`s death.

I remember the first time I watched Mulan 2 I burst into tears!!! For me that is one of the saddest movie scenes :( Shang was so brave about it, and the fact they weren't able to apologize to one another, its just so sad.

Do you know? I really love this film. This ending isn't worse, but it's abit sad though. It's a classic underrated film. It's abit sad that Prince John and his sidekick and henchman are prisioners. I love Prince John and he's a good underrated villain.

The only Disney movie I cried was Toy Story 3.

Dumbo and the Fox in the Hound are the two movies from Walt Disney Animation Studios that are overfilling with pathos for me as well.

Also I should mention the likes of Up, Cinderella, The Lion King, WALL-E, and Bambi as well.

The ending of Toy Story 3. Man, that one really got me... Mufasa's death was heartbreaking, but I don't think it took me to a point of breaking down, like Toy Story 3 did.

I don't know if this is sad to anyone else but it was pretty sad for me. On Cinderella when the stepsisters ruined her dress and she ran to the garden crying. I was so mad at those two for what they did to her dress after all that work the mice did and I felt pretty bad for Cinderella when she went to the garden crying.

And also the ending of pocahantas when she and John smith were separated and they couldn't be together and when she ran to see him one last time just so they can wave good bye to each other.

I know this is a "spur of the moment" answer, and Disney will probably have better films than Frozen, but remember when Olaf was melting and Anna was like, "You'll melt!" and Olaf was like, "Some people are worth melting for..." That was really cute and it's one of the saddest for me.
