Wow, Zeref's my fav, whereas Jellal's my 2nd fav. I don't understand why people still hate Zeref, he's had the hardest life IMO, and he sacrificed his happiness for his brother. AND EVERYONE would go mad if they got a curse like Zeref's, it must have been horrible for him seeing his beloved ones killed one by one in front of his very own eyes, knowing he's the cause.
