Fanpop Question

If someone gets a medal by posting a heap of miscategorized content and they're reported and deleted, will their medal be docked?

I recently announced that I was going to start reporting all the unrelated content in a certain spot, so they know why stuff is disappearing, and I get a few outraged PMs from people complaining that their medals will go away if I continue. Is this true?

if stuff is miscategorized the f4 move it to the correct spot they dont delete it. just sayin

I don't know if they have updated the medal system or not, but in the past, people have kept their medals despite ALL of their crap content being removed from a spot. That, in my opinion, is a major flaw in the medal system, but they may have updated it since the last time I saw that happen.

In theory, do you think a person can get a medal by uploading a picture and taking it down 1000 times without doing anything else? If they haven't updated the system

IDK cuz I don't do that stuff. But I do know that almost everything gets deleted when a user gets banned. Wall posts, images, articles, questions. Medals may be taken away, too, but IDK.
