Fanpop Question

From videos to Links and Wallpapers to pictures?

One day I tried to add these wallpapers to my club. When I uploaded them, they were in the pictures section.
Today I tried to put a video on my club. It was put as a link.
Any Idea why this is happening?

As for the images, I'm not sure. What may have happened is that the wallpaper you tried to upload was too small (the pixel size was too small) to be considered a wallpaper, so it was automatically uploaded as a photo. I think the same thing happens if you try to upload a very small picture (e.g. 100x100) - it gets automatically posted as an icon. I'm not 100% sure of this though, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

ETA: So I just checked - when you go to upload an image, there's a handy little info box on the side of the screen. There, it says,

"Any wallpaper uploads smaller than 800x600 will be re-categorized as photos, and any images 200x200 and smaller will be automatically re-categorized as icons."

So most likely your wallpaper was too small.

Okay. There might have just been something wrong with the url you posted; if it's a youtube vid, look at the url and delete everything at the end of it that comes after the & sign (including the & sign itself). So for example, instead of posting link Try posting link and see if that helps.
