Fanpop Question

Do like this new version of Fanpop?

I'd like to know if you love this new version of Fanpop. Personally I like it very much because of its format.

No. It is confusing. I know y'all will say I'll get used to it, but I've seen the old Fanpop for at least two years now. I'm not ready for change, and this format was too sudden.
I prefer to keep the old one or 'improvise', as people say, the old one bit by bit. But not this whole chunk. It is too much to take and I had good memories with the old format.

i absolutely agree it is better than the older one ppl r saying it's hard to use it's not with the old one u gotta click profile in order to get to edit profile pics and clubs

I think it's fine, the only complaints I have is I don't like that there's no club description for clubs any more, the information on people's profiles is all gone, likes and interests and all that which makes it even harder to know if I want to fan back someone who happens to randomly fan me and the text on the banners. That I see no point to it and like it better the way it was before. Personally I love the black fade though, but only because it's black. It works for the type of banners that I make. If it were any other color then I'd probably hate it. Also I've noticed that the resolution on banners and icons is better now to, clearer so that's a bonus to me :)

I got used to the change in the first five minutes, as for my complaints I'll just wait and see what happens.

For example, the club banner for FanPop looks nice, but other banners look really tacky with the black, fading edges and the name in BIG, bold letters.

I also believe there have been some imporovements and the overall format looks better. But I mus agree with icuSTALKER on one thing: they have done too much and in too short a time. To not make it seem so extreme they should have chaned a little bit at a time. Like maybe switched a few things around the a month or two later made some more changes. It all seems very sudden and therefore people are getting upset about it. It would have been a more effective change had they slowly broken it down. Also, most of the sub-headings and the format are blue, the should have made it green like the circle in the logo behind the white star. It doesn't much look like Facebook but makingit green would have made it cooler and more discernable from Facebook. :)

You know, to me every change is welcome, I mean a change is also an improvement.
But there are also some things that I don't like. For example now it's written the name of the club on the banner.. so a lot of banners doesn't fit well anymore because of this, also the description of the club is gone too..
These are the things that I don't like, what I observed 'till now.. the rest is okay.

I somewhat like the new version. I like it because it's neat and clean. But, I also don't like it. Because, I don't see anything new in this version. All of them are the same. They have taken away some activities and sections instead of puting something new. They have taken away the motto of clubs, banners, italic typing form, update button of spots. Plus, the new version doesn't have anything new. Colour is the only thing I can see which has changed. I think they should bring something new like.. Every spot will show the name of the user who created it, Edit system for comments, more smylies and etc. Plus, the lay colour is more like facebook's colour. They should input some more new colours.
