It's not necessarily how much you contribute to a club, but more how many people like and comment on your contributions.
So you could be the top contributor but no one liked or favorited any of your work, you wouldn't have a medal. But you could be at the end of the list, having posted one thing, and lots of people liked, commented, favorited, etc your work, you would probably get a medal:)
