Most of the clubs I've advertised by posting links are ones I've created, but I've also done the same occasionally for older clubs where I hoped the links would draw more members.

I've actually done both; I've advertised someone else's kajagoogoo club and also my Cyrano de Bergerac club

I'll throw a link to anybody's in a related clubs masterlist forum/article, but I can't think of an instance when I've gone out of my way to advertise someone else's club individually.

I advertise my own clubs. When it comes to advertising other's clubs it depends on what the club is about.

@HomelySauage - I thought of the "I advertise clubs made by others" option as being "I advertise clubs made by others too". I didn't really think there'd be members who'd only advertise others' clubs but not their own.

^Same, I wouldn't bother advertising a club which already has hundreds of members. It doesn't need the help.
