Full Metal Alchemist Question

How has FMA touched your heart?

For me FMA is a touching series that can relate to everyone. It shows the hardships in life and how we get over them. It shows how truely beautiful friendship and love are. It shows that even though our puny little human excistance is very small and worthless we have each other. Or love or family or even people we don't even know. We are all the same. We all have our hopes and fears, our stories, our hardships, our very exsistance. FMA really grabs at your heart and never lets it go. It makes you cry, it makes you laugh, it makes you think, it makes you feel. FMA is,I think, a story we all need to hear. A story we all need to see. It has really made me realize that no matter how different, no matter how small or how big or how far apart or what race or what color... We are all HUMAN.

When I first started watching the show, I couldn't stop. It helped me forget about the bad in my life.
My parents died a few years ago, and it's been hard to get over it. My brother and I used to hate each other. But after we were left alone, my brother was all I had. It's kinda like Ed and Al...they're the only blood family they have. And Jared is the only blood I have.
Love used to be a thing I took for granted. I just expected it to be there, like most people. It hurt when it was gone. But one night, my brother asked what we were doing all those years. And I cried because of how much I need him in my life.
When you usually think of siblings, you think of those annoying people you wish were never in your life. But in the end, you're family. Blood. You need each other so you're not alone when something happens.
It impacted me a lot...me and my brother both. We now have a relationship like Ed and Al's thanks to this show. It's amazing...
RIP Alecia and Gregory Lloyd
I love you Jared.

Also, the term Equivalent Exchange has affected me greatly. I believe that I gave my right arm to save my brother's life and he gave his right leg to save my life. It just makes sense.

Omg.....I am sorry for your loss. I think we are all glad that FMA came into our life for one reason or another, but this reason made me cry the most. Love you and God bless!

That is totaly true; however, i can only say that for the first series.....Brotherhood took that "feel" away from the show and twisted it into a deranged form of "humans CAN surpass the will of God"

?????????????

That is why the first means as much to me as what you just explained.

Well that's like watching a movie that came after another movie. It has all these jokes in the second movie that was in the first movie first. So when you watch the first movie after you've watched the second, you feel like the first movie ripped of the second one. (In other words FMAB was the real story. Don't hate it because you watched a fake one first)

And when did they bring back anyone from the dead in brotherhood???

They never brought anybody back in Brotherhood. The morals learned in the first show? What freaking morals? Really? Brotherhood had so much mre than the first one, it's not even funny. The first seris was a fake, it never followed the manga, which pissed me off. The ending was stupid. Killing The main character was bad enough, but after al brought him back, he went to another world FOREVER. Not cool. i love the first series, but when compared to Brotherhood, the first series is shit.

I am Athesist so for me this anime just blew my mind becuase it showed that Athesists aren't the monsters that people make us out to be ( ED, AL,honehiem, Izumi) and that Athesim can be made out to be a Monster of a person (Bradly, Greed, Lust Gulttony, etc) it also had good life challenges and really made you question ones belifs . and that your Journy as a human to find this trueth we all seek will never be sloved

It tells me to move forward and don't give up... When I saw the ending in Episode 3: City of Hersey (Brotherhood), I was inspired about what Edward said to Rose.

"... Stand up and walk. Move forward, for you have perfect legs to walk on. You don't have to rely on everything..."

Because of that, I think this affects my school days. My grades got higher... :D Because of that, I was a first honor in my school... :DD I'm a big fanatic of the Elric brothers but I was also inspired because what their experiences also happens to me like moving forward even trouble (obstacles) are on their way.

I think FMA touched me in a way i didn't expect it to. I really got into the story and characters, they all felt like family actually. It balances all the good elements of story telling and mashes them together. There truly is no other anime like Full Metal Alchemist!
