To TheliineGirl, the reason blair is so loved is because she is so different to so many tv characters we have seen. I like S, but we have already seen the always happy but a damsel in distress when she wants to be, etc character. Even though on television we have seen bitches like blair, but they dont really show what motovates the girls to act so bitchy like blair does, whereas on gossip girl it does. It shows that she is striving, determind, fiece and inderpentant, oh and SMART, which is what we rarely see on teenage dramas. It also shows a different side to blair, the insucure side, which is why people cant help but root for her when she is in a fight. I really like Serena, she is deffinately one of my favs, just not my actual fav, but she is up there.
