Each point stands for a different one of the main gods of Olympus, with the strand off each point heading to the center in a show of unity, while the strands that go off the ends to the ones on either side is much like that of a one does something and it affects the others. The subsequent meaning being that no one god is above the others, to find unity and strength they all work together to be strong. Pluck out one strand of the web and it will all unravel as will they.
