My new hamster is acting strange..

Obviously something is wrong.
It shouldn't be afraid of you,maybe it's sick.
You should call a vet.

Well this happened to my hamster before i took it to the vet and the vet said it had hurt a muscle in its body and it would scream and flinch when i came close to it so that could be it.if you want it to stop doing that just take its hamster wheel out of its cage and dont let it do anything that might hurt its muscle
