Harry Potter Question

Another observation of mine. Lily had red hair, James had brown hair. But Harry had back hair.... Severus also had black hair... Little suss, don't you think?

I guess I'm going to be repeating what others have said, but Harry AND James had black hair in the books. This is why I don't like the movies much, because they often make some MAJOR oversights.

Take a look for yourself. Tis clearly sandy-ish brown. Besides, when he's older, he's always in a fairly dim lighting. So of course his hair'd look darker

I agree with you, the guy who was chosen to play James has brown hair, and it is weird that Harry has black hair.In the book James has the same haircolour with Harry, though. It's an oversight of the movie makers or they didn't care about it,like everybody in the movies told Harry that he had his mother's eyes and later Lily appeared to have brown eyes, while she's famous for her beautiful green eyes!

Hmmm okay. That about clears it up for me. Oh well, it was worth a try. It woulda been pretty cool if Snape was Harry's father though.

The deep unrequited love Snape always felt for Lily made me want them to be tohether. But if they had a son, there wouldn't be any prophecy about him and the story would be totally different. :)

None other than James could turn out to be Harry's father: remember they're identical except for the eyes

The movieverse has been known to stray from canon several times. Just know that James and Harry both have black hair. Besides, if Snape was Harry's father, wouldn't Harry have gotten Snape's greasy locks, not James' untidy mess?

*Sigh* I suppose you're right. But it'd just be an interesting prospect. Besides, I haven't actually read the series. I suppose I should though. It'd give me a better - insight.

Yes, youshould. There is so much more in the books that was only hinted at in the movies, and some parts were never mentioned at all

The guy who was chosen to play James had brown hair. To be honest, even Dan (Radcliffe) has brown hair. In the books, Harry and James have black hair. Nice observation, though.

The books pretty much hammer into the reader that the only differences, appearance-wise, between Harry and James were eye colour and the scar.
