jlhfan624 Question

What do you usually eat for Thanksgiving? 🍗🥧

I always have turkey (though I wish I could quit it...I'm slowly working on it), mashed potatoes (used to actually skin and boil them, but arthritis prevents me from doing it now so I have to use the bagged kind), cranberry sauce, rolls, broccoli or green beans, and a spice cake. My boyfriend likes stuffing and makes it for himself but I can't stand it. We've also taken to adding macaroni & cheese to our dinners lately and it's a nice addition.

I don't make pies, and don't even get them frozen as they aren't my favorite. I prefer a spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Tell me what you guys like to have!

Since it's just me and my dad and since my family has never been turkey fans all options are on the table (no pun intended *lol!*) We've done pizza, breakfast meal, hamburgers, chef salads, chicken parmesan, taco feast, spaghetti, country fried steak and this year we're doing potato salad!
Not traditional but it is delicious!

Interesting! I know a couple people who have a Thanksgiving like that. Personally I can't imagine anything other than a traditional meal, but if it works for you that's all that matters!
