Johnny pov: We were headed home from school. Walking side by side. I was walking her to we house first, just to be polite. She would look over at me an smile every so often and I would smile back. She held her books close to her torso her arms wrapped around them. "Aye, watch out, (y/n)!", I said as she almost tripped over a step. When she side stepped her books went flying. "Damnit", she mumbled. I ran to pick up her things then walked back to her. She put out her arms for me to hand her the books and loose papers, but I just held them at my side, using my right hand to take hold of her left as we continued our walk. "Thanks, Johnny Cade", she smiles. "Anytime, (y/n)", I say handing her the books "Do you wanna work on our math homework real quick, I, umm, didn't understand number 7", she scratches her head. "Yeah", I say as she leads me into her house. We finish our work and I get up to go. "Thanks, Johnny.. Again", she blushes. "Yeah, yeah!", I say grabbing my things as we walk to the front of her house silently. She opens the door. I walk out onto the porch and turn back to her. "Umm, did you wanna go to the drive in on Friday with me?", I say stuffing my hands deep in my pockets. "I'd love to", she smiles. "Great, see ya tomorrow, (y/n)"
“Yeah?” He says, looking over at you.
“I found this in the attic.” You say, tossing it over to him.
It was his baby blanket, a dark blue color.
He looks at it wide eyed, just taking in the memories.
“What about this?” He asks, still looking at the blanket.
“Well I thought our baby would like it.”
“Planning ahead huh?” He grins.
“Only 8 eight months ahead.” You smile.
He looks up at you in surprise.
“You’re pregnant?” He asks, standing up from the couch to face you.
You just smile.
He scoops you up into a giant hug.
