Johnny Depp Question

I was just watching a 21 jump street episode and it hit me that if it is one thing I don't know about Johnny is his opinion about religion.

I don't know what religion he is or he's a believer or not. I looked it up over the internet and some people are saying he's an atheist. what do you guys know?

It's not a stupid question =) oh and were you watching the episode called "Brother Hanson and the Miracle of Renners pond" by any chance,? cos that ones all based around Religion =D
