I was stunned to hear about this on the radio. According to Johhny, Keith Richards stole them and intends to keep them.

Worn as they may be, they were his favorites - something comfy.
I don't blame him for being upset, and in my opinion, to have them taken by someone he knows, makes it that much worse.

Is it really that big a deal?

It stuns me to know that 27% (so far) of Johnny Depp's so called fans would actually steal from him given the opportunity!
This isn't meant to sound mean or anything, but think about this.
Do you own something that you consider to be special, and in its own way is irreplaceable?
How would you feel if it got stolen?
Worse yet - How would you feel if you knew a friend you trusted stole it from you? ...and wasn't about to return it either?

he and Keith are great friends, I'm sure Keith did it as a joke and will give them back, but still. he shouldn't take Johnny's shoes! especially his favourites! but it probably just a friendly joke, knowing those two,
