I am unsure as to how this will go, but needless to say it'll be interesting. BUT now I need everyone to tell me if this should end with them meeting the Cullens or keep going for a bit........thanks

End of Chapter 28
About two hours later Alice told me to pull off the highway and onto what looked like a small road, that turned out to be a drive way. We drove down the long drive passing huge trees that I guessed had probably been here longer then the house. I was going to ask her what was going on when I saw a house start to grow out of the landscape. It was three stories high, had lots of windows and looked like it was still undergoing construction. I looked over at Alice as I stopped the car and put it in park, nervous for the first time in many years.
“Come on.” Alice said as she climbed out of the car.
I had a second to think about letting her go alone, not trusting these people . But, at the same time I wasn’t about to let her go alone to meet others of our kind…even with the visions that she had had of them. I sighed as I opened my door and moved quickly up to stand by her side.
As Alice took her first step the front door opened, three ‘people’ walking through the door…all of them dropping a little in a defensive stance. I swore quietly as I moved up to block Alice from they’re attack. I felt myself dropping into a defensive stance, willing to fight anyone to keep Alice safe. I was about to take a step forward when I felt a hand on my shoulder and heard Alice laugh quietly as she moved up along my side, ignoring me as I tried to stop her…a sigh escaping my lips as she laughed and stepped out into the middle.
Chapter 29
"Hello," Alice's voice called, her excitment so high that she was bouncing where she stood. "My name is Alice, and this is my.....husband Jasper." She said as she turned and smiled at me.
I moved, fighting against what my body was telling me. I knew I should move her, put her behind me in case this all got out of hand..but this is what she wanted, what she had seen. I knew that she believed in her visions completely and because of that I moved to her side, sliding my hand through hers as she looked up at me and smiled.
"Hello." I said quietly.
"What are you doing here?" The man said as he looked at both of us.
"Carlisle." Alice said as she turned and looked at him again. "Carlisle, Esme and Rosalie...may we come in? I will try to explain everything."
The tall blond woman who Alice had told me was Rosalie did not look happy about this at all. She was glaring at Alice and when she had a chance to look at me completely she stepped back, lowering herself into a fighting position.
"Rosalie." The motherly one said, oh....what was her name again...I wondered.
"Esme," Rosalie said, reminding me that Esme was married to Carlisle and they were the parents of this group. "LOOK at him." Rosalie cried.
I felt slightly selfconcious standing out in the clear, all of their eyes focusing in on the scars that cover my body. I knew that to most vampires I looked very intimidating, scary even..and at times I had used this to my advantage, but as Alice squeezed my hand I realized that I wouldn't be able to do that this time.
"Come in, we'll discuss this inside." Esme said as she opened the door.
"NO! We can not let them inside while Emmett and Edward are gone. What if this is a trick?" Rosalie cried.
"Enough Rosalie, they are our guests." Esme said.
I had to fight a smile as I watched Rosalie try to decide whether she should say something else or not. She finally decided to keep her mouth shut, stomping her foot as she turned and marched into the house. She walked slowly up the stairs, stomping her foot on each stair until she got to the top where she turned and went into a room, slamming the door loudly.
"I appologize." Esme said, once Rosalie's temper tantrum was done. "I thinks he is just worried."
"She is." I said as I walked into the house and followed Alice to a small couch.
"Sit, please." Carlisle said as he motioned for me to sit.
I smiled at him, but I waited for Esme to sit before sitting next to Alice. Many years may have gone by, but my mother raised me to always be a gentleman.
Esme smiled up at me as she realized what had just happened. "Such a gentleman." She said as she smiled.
"Who are you?" Carlisle asked.
"I am Alice," She said as she smiled. "And this is my husband Jasper."
"I get that part, but why did you come here? Were you passing through?"
"Well....not exactly." Alice said as she started playing with my fingers, something I had noticed she did when she was nervous.
"Carlisle, have you met any other of our kind that have.....extra abilities?" I asked, taking the pressure off of Alice.
"Yes." Carlisle answered, not giving out the information that he had one that lives under his roof.
"Ok, and how do you feel about those who have extra powers?"
"Jasper, I'm not sure where this is going." He said as he watched me.
I took a deep breath and blew it out as I thought of how to show or tell him what I could do. I smiled at him, his emotions full of mistrust, apprehension, and concern. I smiled at him as I sent out calming feelings, flooding the room with so much that it would almost make someone feel numb.
Carlisle relaxed, leaning his head back against the couch. He took a few deep breaths before he realized that this was not notmal, the calming leaving him instantly as he sat up and glared at me.
"Was that you?" He asked as he sat forward, resting his hands on his knees.
"Yes."
"How do you....how would you describe this?" He asked, honestly curious.
"I can sense emotions of people around me, I can use different emotions to influence people." I explained as I looked at the wooden floors.
"Interesting." Carlisle said as he rubbed his hands together. "But, this doesn't explain how you knew about us."
"That would be because of me." Alice said softly as she moved closer to my side, my arm wrapping around her protectively.
She was so scared, she looked up at me and I smiled, hoping she understood what I meant behind this. I knew that she could do this, she was SO sure of these people....that they would accept both of us, but now she was scared and there wasn't anything I could do to help her.
