No the reason why they liked him before is probably because of his awesome hair that he had when he first got poblisity and after he got it cut they could have lost intrest and I still like him to so you arent alone and half of my school is the same way to.

If anything he's become more popular around here but it's about the same still. But to answer your question, no he's not any less popular or famous and it's good you still like him, it shows you're a real fan
