I dont know but there was an anime film adaptation has been announced and will be released in Japan on December 3, 2011.
The manga relaunched in April 2011 with two separate storylines published in Manga Time Kirara and Manga Time Kirara Carat,the fourth volume to be released on May 27, 2011.
An additional OVA episode was released with the final BD/DVD volumes on March 16, 2011
The series will be released over four volumes in standard and limited editions for each format, starting on April 26, 2011.Manga Entertainment will release the series in the UK, starting with individual DVD volumes during 2011 followed by a Blu-ray series box set in 2012.

yes they will in fact they are planing to make the new manga for k-on!! i heard that they will feature three new characters and will have the good old group in collage and they also said azunyan will be with theme latter on i got all this info from an article i found on facebook i joined a fan club and so they gave some info on it.
