I actually pictured her how she was portrayed in the movie with brown hair and brown eyes.

I always imagined Katniss with long black hair, light-medium olive skin, thick black eyebrows, and big dark gray eyes. So yes, I imagined her as she was described in the book, but her description was pretty loose. I imagined her facial features as being bold and striking, but she never mentioned her facial features on the book. So yes and no. I used her description but filled in the blanks.

My image of Katniss really wavered. Before I read the first book, I would see pictures of fanart of her with brown hair, and I saw a cosplay by an actress and she had brown hair with light eyes. So it switched from Katniss' actual description to being brown-haired with either blue or green eyes.

I imagined her differently because usually in the movie the actors aren't a perfect match of what is described in the book. So yes I did

I honestly basically imagined her as how she looked in the movie.... I've always imagined her as having brown hair and light skin, for some reason....I guess I mist have missed the part where it described her, lol

I don't remember how I pictured her, but I probably pictured Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal because I think I saw her as Katniss before reading the first book (I read the book before watching the movie, though).

I saw the first 2 films before I read the series, so I pretty much visualised her as Jennifer Lawrence.
