What lies in the shadow of the Statue???

This is the question that i have been pondering for awhile now.
So far my theory as to what the answer is that the group, that IGN nicknamed "the shadow company", means what lies not like lying on the floor, but a lying as in a liar.
And the shadow of the statue is the smoke monster, so the question is really asking,
what lies inside the smoke monster
And as of "Dead is Dead" we know that no one can lie in the smoke monster, as the smoke monster can see your entire past.
So that is my theory, it would be cool to hear any other wacky ideas as to what this question's answer could be.
