Lost Desmond and Groundhog Day

Wow...so tonight's episode was a very cool twist on the flashback since it wasn't really a flashback at all. Desmond appears to be reliving the same period of time over and over again like Bill Murray did in Groundhog Day. What I don't understand is how if it happens when he turns the key, shouldn't he only be able to see what happens before that? How is he able to do it for the time after that? I mean he basically has to see Charlie die twice and relive it multiple times to know what happens. Messing with time travel in stories is definitely a tough thing for the writers to tackle. Anyone have any theories?

I don't know...
I didn't really like that episode. Worse enough that heroes is turning into Lost, now Lost is turning into heroes. They should put those two shows together...

Anyway. It sucks that Charlie is supposed to die. Better Claire than Charlie! Don't think they're going to kill off Charlie though... he has sorta become a secondary character but I still like him...
