Do you think the early version of the first episode of the European version is lost?

Some of you may not know this, but there are two different versions of the first episode of the European version of the anime series. The early version is the version that was originally aired in 1976 in Germany which it didn't originally have the Flip's song sequence which it was made and released later in the late 70s or early 80s as a new extra footage for that particular episode. Well, the instrumental version of Flip's song was created at the same time as other music that was made for the European version of the series, but the lyrics weren't written yet at that time. From what I know, most countries have aired the "updated" version of the episode instead of the original/early one except probably for the Dutch version which the episode was first aired in 1977 'cause my DVD copy of that episode doesn't have the Flip's song sequence at all, but it did have the scene where Maya watched the clear weather and saw Flip jumping around before Miss Cassandra found where she was, so maybe the early version only exists in the Dutch dub as I doubt that this version was aired again in Germany 'cause the original German dub is hard to find, but it may exists in the earlier VHS copies of the episode, but I still doubt it, but if you find this question interesting, you may write your comment below to my question to answer it or your thoughts on the two different versions of the episode itself.
