How Mayday Parade Came To Be

Authored by Emogurlforever

Before Mayday Parade was a thing, there were two different bands. Those bands were: A Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. Both bands knew each other and joked that wouldn't it be funny if they played together and became a band? And funny enough, it worked out well. Before they knew it, they were rehearsing secretly from other members of their original bands and then soon after, they became what they are today: Mayday Parade.

In case you were wondering, the three members from A Kid Named Chicago that quit the band to become Mayday Parade were Jason Lancaster, Alex Garcia and Jake Bundrick, while the three members that left Defining Moment for Mayday Parade were Derek Sanders, Jeremy Lenzo and Brooks Betts. Jason left Mayday Parade soon after the band became a thing and formed Go Radio, making the group 5 people.
