I know this was probably asked a thousand times, but who is your favorite band or singer AND WHY???

My all-time favourite band would be Linkin Park and it has been for 7 years. :)
Why? Well, that's easy and I have lots of reasons so this is gonna be long!
I love how they combine different genres of music into one. Rap/Hip-Hop/Techno combined into rock- and it sounds amazing! <3 I love how their music is totally original and one-of-a-kind.
I love how they're not afraid to experiment and try something new. For example, their first album Hybrid Theory was hard rock- Meteora was a little softer. Minutes to Midnight was at a whole new level with soft and A Thousand Suns is SO different than anything I have ever heard.
They're creative. They put in different beats and styles into their songs and they're not over-the-top, nor are they playing it safe.
They have meaningful lyrics- not just about love and break-ups. Really, I don't think I've ever heard them sing about love or a break-up. They sing about accepting their mistakes, about this world and they have motivating lyrics.
Their new album has speeches in them which makes a person think about the people in the past and what they've done for this world.
Vocals are amazing. Rap is clear and thoughtful. Music is mindblowing.
That's why I love them. :)

My all time fave band is The Jonas Brothers . I LOVE them , I can assosiate with their songs and I think they are just AWESOME !!!!!!!! Joe is my FAVE . WHO AGREES ????

Katy Perry is my favorite singer. I like her because she writes amazing songs, has a great voice and a good personality.

MY ALL-TIME FAVE SINGER IS OFC ADAM LAMBERT!!! REASON: HIS VERY EXISTENCE!!!! LOL

My Chemical Romance. I love their music, and Gerard's voice. =)

My favorite singer is Taylor Swift cause her songs are things that happen to everyone,every day.and She has an AMAZING voice!My favorite band would be.....Hot Riot & Goo Goo Dolls You probably don't know either,but I love rock and pop mixed together,thats for both.and Kelly Riot in hot riot was in Howl o Scream 2010!She has a beautiful voice!!

Of course Michael Jackson ,cause he had most anglic voice ,it can keep you warm ,happy and flying, he can make you smile ,cry and excited . he did all of that with me Really he is the king . Watch this video

I'd have to just pick Michael Jackson!!!♥ For the answer to this question. He's the only one who i think worthy to mention.
His voice is so beautiful, it's hard to conentrate on the words of the song. Low voice, high voice or even, no voice at all, he is just one of the best musicians i have ever heard of, or the best to me. How he stresses those words, and how he uses sharp body-language and can show a range of different emotions in an 4 minuet or so song, really is breath-taking. Nearly All of his music was written from his heart, which is one of the most important thing when you are composing a song. Listening to his voice, or simply just watching him dance has changed so many peoples lives as well as through his work for charities and for all the Children in the world. His music is simply just great, and makes a lot of people happy. It's nice to see people smile these days, you don't see it that often. A lot of his songs contained strong messages, and deep inside most musicians should be making music like Michael did, that will have an impact on the world. ♥♥♥

Toatlly Linkin Park why? Look at what LoveDraco123. They are also one of the first bands I ever liked and heard. They write amazing songs and Chester and Mike make great vocals.

DARREN CRISS because he is an amazing singer, he writes his own music, he plays guitar and piano (and I don't know what else) he's an actor too (he's Blaine in Glee!) and he is supermegaawesomefoxyhot (if you've seen A Very Potter Musical, you get it)

LET ME THINK IT IS.....LINKIN PARK! THEIR MUSIC IS AMAZING THEY COMBINE MANY TYPES OF MUSIC AND THEIR VOCALS ARE GREAT! THEY HAVE REALLY TOUCHING AND REALLY AGRESSIVE SONGS BOTH WITH NICE LYRICS...THEY ARE THE BEST :D

My favorite is The Killers.

What I love most about them is how they can bring out my emotions, and then help me do something about them. Like how they have a song with a sad message to a happy beat, or vise versa.

I love their use of imagery. The metaphores are very intellectual. I don't like when songs tell you exactly what they're singing about and spell everything out for you.

They don't sing about polotics and such.. (except for mabe Tranquilize, but it's only a small aspect). Polotics seems too easy.

The bassist and drummer are probably the best of their kind. (I fancy great rhythm sections)

Their songs are moral, for the most part.

I absolutely love The Beatles. Why? Well, I love their lyrics. I love the harmonies of John and Paul, and I consider those two to be the greatest songwriters in the history of songwriters. I love that they didn't just stick to one genre of music. They could do pop (I Want To Hold Your Hand), rock and roll (I Saw Her Standing There), psychedelic (Tomorrow Never Knows), etc.
I can relate to their lyrics. Their music just makes me feel good.
And the one thing I love the most about them was the fact that they were extremely charming and witty, which is something you rarely ever see in bands.
Also, not that it matters, but they were extremely good looking.
And that is why I love The Beatles =)
