I NEED HELP! I don't know what kind of genre of music I like

To tell you the truth, that's impossible if you don't know what genres you like.
It would be reasonable if you said you don't know whats your "favorite" genre.

Just look at the bands/artists that you listen to and see what genre they are and that will be the genres that you like.

If your not that into the genre in general but you like the song, just say my favorite genre is "whatever sounds good".

I'd have to agree with alexmswann, the bands/artists you listed all fit in the pop-rock genera.
Though at the same time I agree with ATV. For instance, my fave genera is classic rock, but my favorite band (Thriving Ivory) is alternative. Wait... that's a lie, my fave band of all time is The Beatles, once again classic rock genera. Anyway, I don't know if any of that makes sense, but I tried to explain as best I could, haha.
