Do you love songs which are weird for some other ppl?

ppl are always like 'uuuuh whats that!?' when i listen to Björk... =(

I don't understand why people don't like "weird" songs. All they do is go out of their way to make songs not entirely based on boring traditional instruments and have a different tune and melody than what's commonly found in regular songs (a lot of which I find boring). But okay, those people can just go back listening to their normal songs that everyone has heard before and I'll listen to something new... *cough*isalittlebiased*cough*

It's not that I think everything that isn't different sounds the same, because obviously each individual song is going to sound a little different from all the others. But the problem for me is they all start to sound similar to me. I like songs that have me saying, "I can't believe they actually said that in their song!" - but not in the inappropriate way; I hate that - or when the melody of the chorus is totally unexpected and different. I don't like knowing how a song ends before it ends. I like "surprises".
