do you think gaara would be able to beat deidara in a rematch out of the village? why or why not

i was wondering if he could control deidaras clay because it is a type of earth. plus gaara can control rocks as well like in the movie. in addition, about deidaras c4 do you think that gaara can hide underground or in his sand to avoid it?
