cuddy-me-up u actually like jenny she so does not fit wit the team. she is a one man player and that just does fit with the ncis theme.she is just so bitchy and thats just not kool.And yes i love mark harmon aka leroy jethro gibbs he's so hot.:)

Just pay attention the next time you watch an episode with her in. She holds herself above the team and just ruins the mood of the show. And half the time she aint even right about the situation.

I mean, seriously she was the boss, the Director of a federal agency! How was she supposed to 'fit with the team' when she needs to be responsible for a whole agency? She has to think about the entire NCIS, not just the team. The show just depicts Gibbs always seemingly being right because he is the main character. Obviously, Jenny is very good at what she does as she managed to become the first female head of a federal agency. That's got to count for something.
I don't find her bitchy either. Maybe, to some, it may seem like she can be aloof, but that's how she has had to be being a female in a job like hers.
Jenny is an amazing character and I think she fit well with the NCIS dynamic. I miss her on the show and I think NCIS has lost something now. I keep hoping that she will come back and it was all some elaborate plot twist.
Everyone is entitled to their opions, esah. But just keep in mind that not everyone feels the same way.

cuddy -me-up and zarashade when creating a script each director has his/her own vision of who the character should be and a theme that makes the whole thing work. And without all the characters becoming part of their vision and theme the show is less affective. So basically what i am trying to say is jenny maybe the boss but she still has to fit in even if it means she are equals to the rest of the characters.In this show her above the team act /role does not fit the show which throws off the effectiveness of the show and i dont like things like that to happened. And everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but i think it is always better to have a second opinion.

I think I get what you are trying to say, esah. I just don't think I agree with it. I'm not trying to cause conflict with you or anything, I just happen to really love Jenny's character. I think she worked very well. Like Sparty mentions below, you don't want her to fit in completely and wholely as she is the boss. Plus, her moments with Jethro are fabulous!
