Insiders claim Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc ended their relationship a long time before they actually made the break-up public.

"They have been over for months but were keeping it secret, waiting for the right time to break it," a source said.

Jen recently discussed her split from Marc in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, but another source claims that interview will have been carried out way before the announcement.

"Vanity Fair closes its issue at least three months before it hits newsstands," the insider told the Huffington Post.

"No way could they have decided to split two weeks ago and be on the cover of a monthly magazine that fast.

"Something suspicious is going on for sure."
