Does blood magick age you?

I have a couple of books and none of them mention the advancement in age, however my friend who is a shaman told me that it ages you. Does it?

There's still a lot of negativity surrounding blood magic, which was started, purposefully, by a lot of people spreading false information about it. I'd ask your friend for sources on that claim.
