That's true. I say this mostly, but when I'm feeling carefree and happy, I just say "I know," in a joke-y sort of way. XD

Confident and self-assured?!?! No way!! I just say it to be polite, I'm the complete opposite of confident. Sometimes I'll say "Really? Oh I don't think so but thank you" or something along those lines.

I'll say 'Thanks' then usually contradict it because I'm a self-deprecator. So um, no that isn't me at all.

thats, answer with a question or give a compliment in return is what I usually do... it often depends on the compliment.
