PETA kills animals? Is this true? Someone tell me!

I saw a picture that said that PETA kills cats and dogs. People say that PETA kills more animals than save. Is all what these people say about PETA true or are they trying to make this popular animal rights association look bad? Someone please tell me! Their site doesn't look bad but why are people accusing them of killing animals? I found the picture on anti-peta.com.
