As is go left from the breeding area, than down until you get to the route changing thing, then go up go right to the breeding area, then repeat, it makes you more agaile with your thumb and it feel like less steps.

NVM what I said above, it is even more simple, you have to walk to the route/city, not fly. If you fly it wont work unless you get off of the city and onto a route then run back in and you should be able to.
