Who else thinks it's time to get a cute little photo of Lizzy and Mr. Darcy up in the banner and spot area? I have no idea who created this spot, but maybe if we throw out some suggestions from other spots/websites for decor, we can get something put up.

One problem though...banners need to be 800x100 to fit =P
Or half of it will get cut off! LOL

Yep, I think it's about 8 inches x 1 inch...not sure though in inches.
It's like having 8 icons in a row and the standard icon is 100x100 i.e. the square of your user icon's full size

If you click on the link for the banner I made you'll see in blue writing just underneath it, the name of the pic that FP gives it, and the size. Hope that helps some XD

I just clicked on the file on my computer and it is showing it at 1600x200 so it apparently doubles it. I guess any banners I attempt to make I should size at 4 inches x .5 inch which should come out to 800x100

**goes back to the drawing board**

Wait, you know the banner you poseted with 'The Look', that's 489x120, so it needs to be almost twice the width, and a little shorter in length.

Dave's one of the Fanpop Four (the guys who set up this site) and he has the power to change icons/banners on spots in case of inactive spot creators. All we need to do is send him a message, and provided most of the fans agree with the changes that need to be made for this spot, he'll change it for us =]

In that case, maybe between you and I, we should browse through the images and put together a couple of picks for banner choices and spot icon choices and leave it up for a week or so and get the input of fellow fans who want to voice their opinions and once we get the general opinion, email him. How's that sound?

Well, Chandlerfan, are you ready? ;)

I've compiled a bunch of icons I think would be great for the spot icon and after a bit of resizing I will post them here later this evening (hopefully I can lump them altogether on an MSPaint sheet) and see what you think.

EDIT: Was the icon you had posted up there ^^ (Quite the Opposite) in the icon section? I can't remember if I saw it when I went through the images and I forgot to include it here. I can definitely include that one in the overall pick we make.

Depending on what size is needed for a spot icon, these can be resized to fit (thanks for referring me to Picnik).

Sorry I haven't contributed to the banner making process. Banners don't come out looking right when I do them. I do have one here that looks alright. What do you think?

I could do another color on the title, if this is too dark.
