Leaving a harbor on Lake Michigan to get to Panama is insane. The Mississippi River would have been better. So you must go through the St Lawrence seaway after going through Lake Michigan, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and up the St Lawrence and after leaving the vicinity of the Maritime provinces go 2 thousand miles south and you are there!!!!
