Okay. While I don't think it ever will happen, I do think it makes sense, a lot if sense actually. Mordecai's major issue is trying to find love, and the amount of plot that could happen when he realizes his true love was with him all along, was his best friend, and was also A MAN would be INSANE. It'd make for good story, but considering this is a kids network, it will probably never happen.
They're friends.
They're BEST friends.
And friendship is such a wonderful thing, why ruin it?
What Mordecai and Rigby have is far more meaningful then casual romance.
They do care for each other, but as they're friends, it's shown in far deeper ways. Goes way beyond the kissing and hand holding.
When Mordecai will jump into a lava pit, Rigby will jump in after him without having a plan, without thinking about how dangerous it is. It's as simple, and as complex as that.
Friendship is a beautiful thing. And I think it's very underrated.
I don't have anything against this ship, nor do I have against the people who ships it.
I just don't understand why every time there's a show with best friends, people want them to be become a couple.
Can't you see they're already more then that?
