Rubyrings Question

What year would you choose to be born in, in order to be living in the 1960s with Beatlemania, and why?

I've said before, I'd pick 1947. It's exactly 50 years before my real birth year. I'd completely miss the war, have my childhood in the 1950s which looks so fun, and be a teenager right on time for Beatlemania - an older teenager, too, so more chance of the Beatles seeing me as a potential love interest! I'd turn 20 in 1967, just about the time when the Beatles' sound started changing, and I'd hopefully be able then to fly over to England to see them, convince them to stay together and not change themselves so much - and with a bit of luck, get John to fall in love with me!

I think I would be born in 1949. I would be a couple of year younger than you. I would help to save the Beatles.

Thanks. I wouldn't mind some help on a big mission like that!

Of course! I could even help you find your way. I am from England originally, after all.

That sounds perfect.

I think I would've been born in 1948. I would also help the Beatles stay together. I would appeal to their friendship, as I view friendship as very important.

I'm optimistic that it would!

Any year! (tbh I'm not good at math (lol!)) but any year will do and I think it would be cool to be living near the time the Beatles were performing at the Cavern so I could see them there, too or maybe even go to school with them? Beatles as classmates, I think that would be awesome! :)
And I would try to save Stu because he was part of the Beatles and he was John's friend and he and Astrid deserved to be together.

I'm not good at math either, don't worry! Those are all good goals - maybe 1940 would be a good birth year for you, in that case?

That'll work! I could go to school with them :)

I knew you'd pick 1950. That's a good round year. And you could accomplish the same missions as I would!

Yes. Maybe we could go on that mission together.

I'd say 1948, which is 50 years before my real birth year. By the time I become a teenager in the 1960's, I would save my hard-earned money so I could book for a flight ticket bound for England to watch the Beatles in concert there. Then, by 1967, I would convince them to stay together. I also hope to become close friends with Ringo and George.

We'd still have the same age gap, then! That's a great idea to fly to England and watch the Beatles. Fortunately for me, they really did come to Toronto, so I'd be able to see them then - which isn't to say I wouldn't travel to see their other concerts if I could!

I think I'd pick 1947 as well. I'd be a teenager during Beatlemania, which would have been awesome, and by the time the 2000's came along, I'd be too old to be expected to listen to today's "music".

There's another plus - not having to approve of what's popular today.

Yes. I was born in the wrong generation.
