Sonic, Rouge, Amy, Sally, me, and Tails were taking an evening stroll down Soleanna. The sun was silhouetting over the light blue sea, with nothing but a bird's tweet heard in the distance. Sonic was chatting his blue head off, while Rouge was blabbering about jewels and things. Tails whistled to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and I kept my mind on more urgent matters. The noble citizens of Soleanna have reported mysterious creatures being seen in the outskirts of the city. They sent us, Fighter Flyers 6, to seek out the problem. "Guys," I started, "We've better find a safe place soon. Nighttime's comin' round the corner." The sun was setting quickly, and Tails started panicking like a scared baby. Sally tried to comfort him, but his annoying shrieking got even louder. "Tails bro! Calm down! The monsters will SO kill us if you scream like that!" I mentally face palmed myself. That just made matters worse. Tails' eyes widened and he screamed. I rushed over to Tails, put my hand over his mouth, shot him a look, and like that, he was quiet. Rouge clapped silently at my ability to shut kids up. Sally smiled at me and gave me a friendly nudge. We continued to walk, and our legs were giving in to tiredness. "Can....we...take..a...5 minute...break?" huffed Sonic tiredly. Rouge's metal heels clicked against the sand and her make up started to fade. "Yeah, I need to re-apply a whole new coat of make up." She touched her face and sighed. I was quite energetic, but for the sake of the crew, I let us set camp in between two tall rocks.
The rocks concealed us from the view, and we lit a small fire to keep from attracting unwanted attention. Sonic immediately fell asleep, and Amy whispered eerily in his ear, "Goodnight, Sonikku....I hope you dream about me....." Sally made a face at Amy, and snickered. I giggled softly so Amy wouldn't bonk me with her Piko-Piko hammer. Amy curled up next to Sonic and stroked his quills. Tails was working on an invention, with no effort required. Rouge examined a rare emerald she found along the way. I was sleepy also now, but I didn't want to sleep. Something felt awfully wrong, as if a group of people were stalking us. I shook at the thought. That was very unlikely. We were surrounded by protective rocks that towered over us like mighty oaks, and our small fire was to burn anything that came too close. None of us brought weapons, except for me and Amy. I held my twin rifles in my strapped black seat belt purse. They were fully loaded, with 20 rounds of ammunition. "Sally," I whispered quietly, "Do you think something is gonna happen, real soon?" Sally chuckled softly and gave me a hug. "Honey, it's going to be fine. No monsters are going to get us here. And if they do, we have two good fighters to help us. You and.....unfortunately, Amy." She shot Amy a glare and made a silly face. I laughed, completely forgetting about my worries. I fell asleep on my cot, but then a tremor awoke us all.
"WHATS GOING ON?" squealed Tails. He gripped onto my arm, and didn't let go. Sally readied herself for battle. Sonic was up too, clinging to his remaining 5 rings. Rouge had expert combat skills, and got ready to kick any monsters that were going to ruin her shoes and emerald. Amy was furious, and grabbed her hammer so she could mash anyone into potato soup who would hurt Sonic. "Tails, run far away! Leave us to fight whoever's here!" I yelled. Tails shook his head. He squeezed my arm tighter and whispered quietly, "I'm not going to let you go. I can fight these guys!" I sighed. Tails pulled out a small knife, encoded with his name on it in flawless, beautiful cursive. "Here they come! Let's fight!" yelled Sonic. Out of the blue, ten beastly figures with red and green eyes mixed together appeared. I growled and fired. The creatures roared and were clearly on a killing rampage. One lunged at Sally, who knocked the beast out before it laid a claw on her. Tails, surprisingly, didn't scream, yell, or shriek, but stabbed a monster brutally in its heart. It twitched slightly, and blood oozed out of its large gash. The others aimed for Amy, who didn't dare let one lay a finger on Sonic. "LEAVE MY SONIC ALONE!!!" She yelled angrily before whacking all of the beasts into rocks with large concussions. But then, a bigger beast appeared in front of me. "Die!" I screamed.
I shot the monster several times and used my own dark powers to kick its ass. It bit me on my leg. "Owwww!" I screamed in pain as I saw my gash flow with blood. The pain was horrible, and my vision became blurry. I fainted. All I heard was my name being constantly said by my friends. An unusual voice bellowed darkly, "Leave that woman alone!" He attacked the beast and held a green Chaos Emerald. He shot a giant chaotic blast that aimed for the beasts head! It howled and yelped, then flailed its paws in the air. Sonic picked me up and rushed me over to the makeshift infirmary we made. "Thanks Shadow!" They all said. So that's what his name was......Shadow.

"well... come on! We're going to be late!!" dan yelled. Shadow, which was walking with his eyes closed said " I sense something , something familiar from my past." Just what past was he talking about ? Well, my past starts with the death of my parents . Just thinking about it makes me want to cry ,but Shinobi must never show tears ,not even one. maybe Shadow had the same past like me."Shadow," I said softly."what?" Shadow answered." have you ever had a broken past?" Suddenly,I bit my lip because I was scared what Shadow might say to my naive question. Then,I noticed that Shadow was exposing small tears and whispered. " I have lost my best friend Maria. After 50 years, I've been alone." Shadow said "I know how you feel, my parents died from a suicide mission, and since then I've never'd speak of them until now." I said to Shadow. In my head I thought that Shadow wasn't the only one alone, I was alone, too. Finally, we both have something in common. ( to be continued in part 4)
