Because I saw the movies first. I loved him, then I read the books and I loved him more. :)

I started reading the books after seeing the 2nd movie. But I read the 3rd book before seeing the movie and fell for Sirius, so books.

I've loved Sirius ever since I read the 3rd book. :)

The books because I read the 3rd one before the 3rd movie came out. But I also love Gary Oldman's portrayal of Sirius also

Because of the books. Sirius was epically awesome in the movies as well, but the books played the key role in making me fall in love with his character.

The very first Harry Potter book I had gotten was Prisoner of Azakban and I was quit impressed Sirius' character and when I finally saw the movies I began to love him even more.

Books. I didn't know about the movie till I had read the series at least 5 times. I was in 2-4 grade when I read them.
