Pony: At first he was a little nervous about you bringing home a dog from the streets. Who knows what kind of disease it had! After convincing Pony to keep him he finally agreed. But he made you bathe him outside before he entered the house.
• Johnny: Johnny accepted the little pup right away. Johnny had a big heart when it came to animals. So when you brought the little guy home he was thrilled.
• Dally: At first he thought having a dog was stupid. He let you keep him but he acted as if it was never around. Then one day after you came home from work you caught Dally playing with the little puppy an you couldn't help but smile.
• Soda: Bringing home this dog might have been a mistake. Soda refused to let anybody play with his new puppy. Sometimes he didn't even want to go to work. The puppy was such a distraction that you had to set rules for Soda.
• Steve: He wasn't in a good mood when you brought the dog home. He made you take it back to the park and that made you sad. Steve noticed how sad you were when you got home. You went straight to he's not saying anything to him. The next morning you woke up to find the same dog sitting on your bed next to Steve. Steve apologized for being so rude and the two of you treated the dog like your own kid.
• Two-Bit: Two-Bit was afraid of dogs. When he was little a dog had bit him and he was now scarred for life. When you brought this dog home he screamed. You laughed and slowly helped Two-Bit over come his fears. Now Two-Bit can't get away from the dogs thanks to you.
• Darry: He thought it was childish that you had a dog out on the porch. You frowned as he walked out to return the dog. He came back inside with the dog in his hand. You could tell but the grin on his face that he had instantly fell in with the dog and he was here to stay.

The cars zoomed by.
“This makes me so nervous.” you say.
“Why?” Soda asks, smiling.
“What if the cars blow up, and we die? Or what if they crash? Or-“
“Hey it’s going to be fine,” He interrupts you. “Have some popcorn.”
“But what if I’m eating popcorn and the cars blow up and we die?”
“Then I’ll blow up and die eating popcorn with the girl I love.”
And he kisses you on the lips.

Soda’s Perspective
“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 year old daughter. Wow.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.
“I’ll be good, Daddy, I promise.”
I grin. Exactly what her mother said to her dad on our first date.
“I know.” I manage to say. “You’re a good kid.”
“Not like Faith,” Grace grins. Oh my Faith. Nine years old and already had a “boyfriend”. She was completely hilarious.
“Not like Faith.” I smile.
I get up off the couch to give her a hug.
“I love you Daddy.”
“Love you too, sweetheart.”
“You’re still going to be the first boy I fell in love with.”

The yells from the lot were louder than ever.
You knew your boyfriend was there, and all his friends.
You hated it when they fought.
Those stupid fights.
You went over to lot, to make sure things weren’t getting out of hand. If they were, you’d definately call the police.
It would risk them getting arrested, but you didn’t want any of them hurt; or dead.
You saw bodies going at each other, caked in mud and blood.
You start to walk towards the fight (like an idiot) and are met with a punch to the face.
You fall into the mud, shocked by the blow.
“Hey! That’s my girlfriend!” Soda yells as he pushes the Soc over, and starts beating him repeatedly.
You feel a hand on your shoulder as you get up. You grab the hand and flip him over.
“Hey,” you thought. “This is fun.”
You understood why they liked these so much.
