Softball Question

For Pitchers ONLY!!!

Okay so I am a pitcher...I want to know some grips for change ups, rise balls, curve balls, etc. It would be best to post a picture but if you can't try to explain the best you can. It would really help for some advice too. Thanks!

well i don't really call the seams 2 seam or 4 seam, i call them hourglass and horseshoe... but for a riseball my pointer finger and middle finger are on the hourglass seam, my thumb is in the middle of the horseshoe seam and my other two fingers are on the other horseshoe seam. my curveball has the same grip. My changeup has the same grip as my fastball because i just use a backhand changeup. for my dropball i use the hourglass seam my four fingers evenly spaced at the top, and my thumb at the bottom of the hourglass seam. I'm sorry that I can't explain it any better. (but 4 seam is horseshoe and 2 seam is hourglass)

well im not a pitcher anymore but i was for like 6 years, this was my favorite to throw its like a knuckle curve, its Thrown as a fastball with the index finger tucked. This is an imbalance pitch whereas the ball will come out of the hand with the sideways spin. Must remember to push the tucked finger out hard and fast at release.
