do you think that because Stephen Moyer is the "star" of the show, the writers will make Bill's relationship with Sookie work out and will ignore the books?
When questioned recently about Eric and Sookie's relationship, Alan Ball said that is was inevitable that they will get together, and that its fate. Although I highly doubt it will be in Season 3 Alan Ball also confirmed that HBO has commissioned True Blood for a forth season!

I hope that we get a little of Club Dead this season. I was really hoping to get the after-staking and blood giving scene with Eric and Sookie in the bedroom. Sigh. Maybe they'll be more dreams...
hi!
i don't think that stephen moyer will ignore the books...but can you please tell me,in case you have read the books,if sookie and eric will become a couple(not in real life) during season 3 or in the next seasons??? please,i can't wait for it!!!
I hope not. But I have been reading the books & so far they have not kept to them much in the first 2 season's. I am hoping this will change as time & episode's move on & they come together with the books a little more.
as you can see throughout all five seasons, they don't necessarily follow the books. i mean like, they follow the basic line, but never really details.
its pretty ify when it comes to eric and sookie because that's not the view they wanted, if you know what i mean. they thought that bill and sookie was going to be over view of true blood.
but if i'm going to be honest with myself, the books are more interesting then the tv show. the tv show does have its moments because you visually get to see the characters.
but the books on the other hand are from the person who actually wrote the books, its the way true blood should be viewed.
there's no yes or no to this question until they finish true blood (which is most likely when all the books are finished because each season is based on one book). but for all the eric sookie fans, we all want them together!!!!
