I'm sorry but....when did they get 'Devil's Trap' tattoos?

When they show their tattoos to the comic publisher to prove they are "true" fans of supernatural. I asked myself, Is that the first time the tattoos have ever come up? I remember in the episode "Born under a bad sign" Bobby gave them necklaces with a devils trap emblem but was there an episode i missed where that was brought up in conversation?

Not sure if it's that tattoo Dean is referring to though.

tattooing is extremely prevalent in prisons, especially with gangs, so i think that's why dean referenced it in folsom prison blues :)
